Georgie and Gadget
Set and Costume DesignProduced by Guildhall School and Little Angel Theatre.
Meet Georgie, a young girl with a big imagination and a passion for robotics
When Georgie grows up, she wants to be an inventor, more than anything in the whole world. She has spent her whole life making inventions, and now she’s trying to make something bigger and better than ever. Join her in an adventure of mechanics and magic as she creates her newest invention, Gadget.
Come with Georgie as she discovers what it really means to do what you love. Together, Georgie and Gadget explore the endless possibilities of adventures two friends can have together in a world that does not always approve of Georgie’s dreams. Georgie and Gadget truly show what young girls can do if they put their minds to it.
Georgie and Gadget is an exciting new piece of puppetry theatre that discusses the importance of being yourself and doing what you love. Produced by the MA Collaborative Theatre Production and Design students at Guildhall School in collaboration with Little Angel Theatre, this heart-warming and uplifting story is told through a blend of puppetry, live music and song.
Georgie and Gadget is aimed at ages 5 – 7 and builds on themes of friendship, problem-solving and gender stereotypes. There will be some audience participation in this show.
